To get information about how to learn English from the conversation. 3. To understand the way of giving advice. 4. To practise giving advice on English learning. 单元学情分析 两班共有学生64人,大部分同学学习积极性较高,能较好地完成学习任务,但个别学生学习习惯不是很好,整体水平不够理想, 单元重点难点 To learn the ways on how to learn English.To practice using the ways of learning English in our daily life 教学活动 【活动】Pre- listening 1.Warming up T:Get Ss to talk about: What do we need to learn about English? Ss:Think about the question and learn some new words. Aim:To stir Ss’?interests and attract their attention. 2.Brainstorming: T:Ask Ss to discuss:How to learn English well? Ss:Discuss how to learn English well by reviewing the phrases they have learnt. Aim:To review what they have learnt and lead Ss to the conversation. 【讲授】Step I Lead-in Ask the students to answer some questions. T: How do you learn English? What helps you learn it? and then call back the answers from the whole class. 【讲授】Pre-listening 1.Teach words and phrases and practise the sentence patterns. 2.Read the instructions in Activity1 and check the ones you understand. 3.Have a competition game to practice the sentence patterns in pairs. 【讲授】While –listenin 1.Listen and answer the questions. Use the words and expressions in the box. (1)Which word did Daming not understand? (2)What mistake did Lingling make? (3)How does Daming usually check the spelling of a word? 2.Play the recording again, then students can check their answers with their partners. 【讲授】Post-listening 1.Listen and read after the video. 2.Work in groups of 8 to deal with the key words, phrases and sentences. 3.Choose an excellent student to be a teacher to teach and control the ‘Question Time’. 4.Learn everyday English. 5.Challenge your memory. ?【活动】Group work T: Work in groups to talk about the problems and advice, then I ask your group leaders to come to the front to show your suggestions.You did a very great job. ?【练习】?Consolidation Play the recording again and ask the students to listen and mark the intonation. ?【作业】Homework Ask students to 1.
