Module 3 Diet and health Unit 8 Growing healthy, growing strong (Stage 5) Writing: A report on habits 设计说明 先呈现used to的用法及not…any longer,让学生理解并能够运用,为后面的学习做好语言上的准备。学习“Read”的内容,分两步展开:第一步,录音完成表格,提高学生的听力技能及抓取关键信息的能力;第二步,结合朗读、对话练习、问答的形式,提高学生的理解能力。接下来,分析自己过去的不良习惯并与同学交谈,熟练运用used to表达自己过去的习惯。丰富课堂形式,鼓励学生积极参与:设置采访调查的活动,让学生列出过去的不良习惯和现在的好习惯,然后写一篇报告汇报结果。设置部分练习,巩固所学内容。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握used to及not…any longer的用法。 2.能力目标 能够听懂、读懂有关习惯的对话或文章;能够写一篇报告汇报自己或他人的习惯。 3.情感目标 积极改变不良习惯,培养好习惯,使学生有更长远的进步。 重点难点 重点:掌握used to及not…any longer的用法。 难点:能够听懂、读懂有关习惯的对话或文章;能够写一篇报告汇报自己或他人的习惯。 教学准备 PPT课件;活动Read的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Presentation 1. Present some pictures and sentences to introduce the usage of “used to” and “not... any longer”. 2. Teach the usage of “used to” and “not... any longer”. used to的用法 used to意为“过去常常”,后跟动词原形。表示过去经常发生的动作或存在的状态,而现在已不再发生或存在,只用于过去时,没有人称和数的变化。 1.肯定句式:主语+used to do sth. He used to watch too much TV.他过去常常看太多电视。 2.否定句式:(1)主语+didn’t use to do sth. (2)主语+ used not to do sth. I didn’t use to do enough exercise. =I used not to do enough exercise. 我过去常常锻炼得不够。 3.一般疑问句的常用句式: Did+主语+use to do sth.? Did you use to go to school on foot?你过去常常步行去上学吗? 【辨析】used to do sth.,be used to do sth.与be used to doing sth. used to do sth.过去常常做某事主语可以是人,也可以是物be used to do sth.被用来做某事主语通常是物be used to doing sth.习惯于做某事主语通常是人 not…any longer not…any longer意为“不再”,与no longer同义。 We don’t live here any longer./ We no longer live here.我们不住在这里了。 He doesn’t eat much fried food any longer./ He no longer eats much fried food.他不再吃很多油炸食物了。 Step 2 Listening and writing 1.
