Module 3 The natural elements *Unit 11 Electricity (Stage 2) Writing: The importance of electricity 设计说明 先从学生熟悉的家用电器导入新课。一起学习生词短语,减轻后面课文学习的难度。看课本中的家电图片,让学生思考并回答这些家电的用途。接下来,就一些家电用途进行小组对话,锻炼学生的语言表达能力。完成有关“电的重要性”的短文。与同学一起调研不同地方用到的电器并进行交谈。接下来,就家里能找到的电器列个清单,写出它们的用途,借此锻炼学生的表达能力和写作能力。讲解部分知识点,做练习进行巩固,完成本课教学。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握本课节新词汇:importance, microwave, vacuum cleaner, printer, electrical, appliance, air conditioner, electric, kettle, heater, cooker, iron, efficiently 学习句型:What electrical appliances do people use at home They use...at home. 2. 能力目标 能够明白电的重要性;能够写出电器的用途。 3. 情感目标 电无处不在,方便了我们的生活。 重点难点 重点:掌握本课节新词汇;学习句型。 难点:能够明白电的重要性;能够写出电器的用途。 教学准备 PPT课件;活动Look and learn的录音;有关生词的图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warm up T: What electrical appliances do you have at home 1. Let the students brainstorm in groups. 2. Get some groups to share their answers. Write the items that the students mention on the blackboard. Step 2 Presentation 1. Present some new words and phrases: importance, microwave, vacuum cleaner, printer, electrical, appliance, air conditioner, electric, kettle, heater, cooker, iron, efficiently.
