Play a guessing game. Ss read the sentences and guess what “it” is. 2. Free talk. Ss work in pairs, ask and answer the questions. (1) Do you have a computer (2) What do you usually do on the computer (3) Does your mother allow you to play computer games (4) Can you write your homework on the computer 设计意图:通过猜谜游戏调动学生的积极性,既有效活跃课堂气氛,又能顺利导入新知学习。 Step 2 Pre-listening 1. Ss read the new words after the T. 2. Ss practice reading the new words themselves and then read the words together. Activity 1 1. Ss listen to the recording and listen for the parts of the computer and the order. 2. Listen and check. Activity 2 1. Ss label the parts of the computer. 2. T checks the answers with the whole class. Activity 3 1. T asks Ss to fill in the blanks and then check with a partner. 2. T elicits the answers. Step 3 While-listening Activity 4 1. T plays the recording for the first time. Ss listen and choose the answers. 2. Ss listen to the recording again and mark T or F. 3. T plays the recording for the third time for Ss to number the instructions. 设计意图:第一遍听力设置几个简单的题目,不仅降低了听力难度,也可以让学生初步理解对话内容,迅速进入听的状态。 Step 4 Post-listening Activity 5 1. Ss read the questions and answer them individually. 2. T tells Ss to discuss and check with their partner to compare the answers. 3. T checks the answers with Ss. 4.
