UNIT 5 Buying and Selling Lesson 25: Raising Money 设计说明 首先,老师通过向学生展示图片引入“What are they doing They are raising money. ”句式。接着利用图片呈现本课新词pay, dollar, bake, sixteen, 学习如何使用“How much... ”并进行练习;同时, 利用这一对话形式, 要求学生进行操练, 接着进入教材的听读练习。然后, 利用Let’s Do It!中的No. 4编对话对本课内容进行巩固。最后, 处理剩余的练习题。本节课从多个角度、多种形式对本课的语言知识进行练习,从而达到教学目的,实现教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学, 学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握单词: pay, dollar, sixteen 接触单词: bake, advertising, poster 短语和句型: raise money, pay for, make money, make a poster; How much will they cost I’m going to... ; I think everybody likes cookies. 2. 能力目标 (1)学会谈论为何筹钱; (2)谈论如何靠自己的能力筹钱。 3. 情感目标 自力更生, 让我们更独立, 让我们更强大;当我们独立帮助他人, 我们也可感受到愉悦与幸福。 重点难点 1.重点: 掌握本课节出现的新词汇及表达方式。 2.难点: (1)宾语从句 (2) pay/cost 表“花费”的用法 教学准备 PPT课件;本课节用到的录音和图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Greeting and Lead-in Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly. T: Good morning, boys and girls! Before we begin our lesson , let’s look at some pictures. Show the pictures and ask: What are they doing Students answer: They are raising money. T: From the pictures we can see that they are raising money to help the people who are very poor and in trouble. T: Well done, boys and girls. You have done a good job. Today we will learn Unit 5 , Lesson 25: Raising Money Step 2 Presentation 1. Look and learn. (1) Teach the new words pay and dollar. Ask the students to look at the pictures. Say something about the pictures. Then, let the students talk about the pictures using the sentence patterns: —How much does it cost —It costs     , so you need to pay      for it. —What’s this —It’s 100 dollars. (2) Teach the new words bake and sixteen. Ask the students to look at the picture. Ask and answer about the picture. —What is the man —He’s a baker. —What’s he doing —He’s baking in the bakery. He has baked sixteen cookies. 2. Work in pairs. Suppose you are in a shop. Act out the dialogue between the salesman and the customer: Use the sentences: Can I help you /What can I do for you Yes, please. I want… How much is/are... It’s/They’re... What color/ size do you want I’ll take it/them. Step 3 Listening 1. Play the recording and ask the students to listen and fill in the blanks. (1) Each player needs to pay      for the trip.
