We’re all excited. The excited students sang and danced. exciting 激动人心的 作表语时, 主语常是物; 作定语时, 常用来修饰物。 e.g. The basketball game yesterday was very exciting. My sister told me some exciting news just now. 2. listen和hear listen强调“听”的动作，是不及物动词，后面不能直接跟宾语，如果要表示“听……”时，用listen to …。 e.g. Listen! Lily is singing in the next room. I listened carefully to her story. hear强调“听”的结果，是及物动词，常接名词或代词。 常用结构： hear sb. do sth. 听见某人做某事 强调听到的动作经常发生或已完成 hear sb. doing sth. 听见某人正在做某事 强调听到的动作正在进行 e.g. She heard a noise (噪音) outside.
