Lesson 57 An unusual day 很不平常的一天 授课内容： 一. 句型 What‘s the time It‘s eight o’clock. Mrs. Sawyer usually drinks tea . But this afternoon She is drinking tea in the garden. 二. 语言点 1.It’s eight o’clock 这是整点的表达方式, 在英语中常用it 来代指时间、天气、温度或距离。 What's the time /What time is it -It’s ... o’clock ...点钟 =of the clock 只在整点之后,当有A.M. 或P.M 出现的时候不用o’clock. eg: two o’clock past（表示半点前） Ten past seven. Twenty past nine. half（表示半点） It's half past eight. to（表示半点以后） ten to seven two to two. quarter（表示一刻钟） a quarter past nine 2． by car 乘汽车 on foot 步行 这两个状语短语均用来表示方式。 by + 交通工具 表示乘用某种交通工具。by 与交通工具的名词间不加任何的冠词。如加冠词的短语有：on the bus / in the car . on foot = walk to e.g I go to school on foot = I walk to school. Mrs. Sawyer goes to work by bike . But his husband goes to work on foot. 3. shop n. 商店= store (美) v. go shopping= do some shopping 购物 shopping center：购物中心 shopping mall：大型购物中心 supermarket：超市 go to the shops：逛商店（买东西） a shopping list 购物单 shoplift：从商店中偷东西 shoplifter：商店扒手 window shop：只看不买 talk shop 说行话，三句不离本行 4. moment n. 片刻，瞬间 at the moment =now 在眼前，此刻(现在时)，那时，刚才(过去时) at any moment：任何时候 at the last moment：在最后一刻 at the very moment：就在非常的那一刻 at that moment：就在那一刻 for a moment：一会儿 in a moment：不久 5. 一般现在时和现在进行时 一般现在时表达某个人习惯性的动作或经常做的动作，经常与时间频度副词every day , in the morning / afternoon / evening，always， sometimes， often 等连用，而现在进行时表示此时此刻正在进行的动作，at the moment , now 等词出现的时候常用现在进行时。 例1 They usually cook dinner themselves, but today, they’re eating in the restaurant. 现在进行时有时用来替代一般现在时，表示一个经常性的动作或状态或表示一种感情： He is sleeping in the next room now. 他现在在隔壁房间睡着了。 He is always thinking of others. 他总想着别人。（表赞扬） She is always boasting. 她老爱说大话。 （表厌烦） 在here和there引导的句子里，可用一般现在时替代现在进行时.
