Unit 2 Travelling Reading 设计说明 首先通过展示一些有关香港迪士尼乐园的图片学习本课时的生词及短语,然后了解Kitty的香港之行,进而再由浅入深对这篇文章进行阅读,同时处理一些书后的练习,进而掌握文章中出现的一些重要知识点,并围绕这些知识点展开一系列的巩固练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:miss, fantastic, speed, ride, cartoon, such, magic, pie, feel, couple, move at high speed, hurry to, on the way, such as, later in the afternoon, cannot stop doing sth,take photos, a couple of, at the end of, enjoy oneself 2.能力目标 (1)了解Kitty的香港之行; (2)能谈论旅行中的见闻和活动。 3.情感目标 通过谈论旅行,培养学生热爱生活的情感和争做文明游客的决心。 重点难点 1.重点:了解Kitty的香港之行。谈论旅行中的见闻和活动。 2.难点:能模仿文章描述旅行中的见闻和活动。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Show some pictures of famous attractions and ask students: Can you tell me something about the places of interest we’ve learnt in this unit 2. Ask students: Have you ever been to Hong Kong Then show some pictures about Hong Kong Disneyland and teach some new words and phrases. New words: character, roller coaster, speed, parade, fantastic, magic, pie, a parade of Disney characters, watch the fireworks, do some shopping etc. Step 2 Pre-reading 1. Show the students a map of Hong Kong Disneyland. Show them the locations of Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventure Land and Main Street and what they can do at these places. 2. Prediction Ask: What would you like to know about the trip Then tell the students that they should learn about Kitty’s trip from the five main points. (when, where, who, what and how) Step 3 While-Reading 1. Skim the passage and see where you could find the answer. (1) Read the passage quickly and analyze the structure of the passage. Part 1 Introduction (when, where, who, how...) Part 2~6 Main Body (what) Part 7 Ending (2) Show the mind map of the passage 2. Scan Para. 1 and complete the conversation on Page 24.
