Module 9 Friendship Unit 3 Language in use 设计说明 本单元主要复习本模块所学的句型和语法。从简单的连线,到选引导词,再到写出宾语从句、选句填空,层层递进,复习宾语从句的用法。通过选词完成会话,到有词形变化的选词完成短文,听录音,结对活动,然后是写作, 全面提升学生灵活运用本模块所学语言知识的综合能力。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标 1.知识目标: (1)复习本模块单词和短语,并能完成训练题 (2)复习宾语从句及其用法 2.能力目标: (1)通过做题,让学生提升运用所学知识的能力 (2)教会学生运用本模块所学的宾语从句等知识描述朋友 3.情感目标: 帮助学生提高学习英语的兴趣,树立信心,处理好广交朋友与正确交友之间的关系 重点难点 重点:与友谊相关的单词、短语、句型,以及宾语从句 难点:能运用本模块所学知识谈论友谊 教学准备 PPT 课件、听力录音等 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Language practice Could you explain what happened then Can you tell me how she’s different Could I ask if you’ve mentioned this to her Do you know why she treats you like that I did not know who she was. I asked her why she smiled at me that day. Step 2 Grammar if / whether及疑问词引导的宾语从句 一、if / whether引导的宾语从句   当谓语动词表示疑问的概念,如“想知道”“问”时,后面的宾语从句含有“是” 或“不是” 两种情况,这时用if或whether来引导宾语从句。if或whether表示“是否”,不可以省略。   He asks me if / whether the Spring Festival always comes in February. 他问我春节是不是总在二月到来。   My sister wanted to know whether she could join the Basketball Club or not. 我姐姐想知道她是否可以加入篮球俱乐部。 [注意] 如果宾语从句中引导词后没有or not,宾语从句用if和whether引导都可以但引导词后有or not的话,必须用whether,构成whether or not结构。 Lingling asked Tony whether or not he could help her with her English. 玲玲问托尼他是不是可以帮她学习英语。 二、疑问词引导的宾语从句   疑问词what, where, how, when, why等也可以引导宾语从句,分别表示“什么”“哪儿”“怎么”“什么时间”“为什么”等,它们有具体含义并在宾语从句中充当句子成分,所以不能省略。   He asked me what I was doing then. 他问我那时在干什么。   They have not decided where they should go for the holiday. 他们还没有决定到什么地方去度假。 三、疑问语序与陈述语序   宾语从句必须用陈述语序。   How do you usually spend your weekend 你通常怎样过周末?     (助动词在主语前面,构成疑问语序)   Tony asked how I usually spent my weekend. 托尼问我通常怎样过周末。 (主语在前,谓语动词在后,构成陈述语序) Step 3 Exercises 1 Match the two parts of the sentences. There may be more than one possibility. 2 Complete the conversation with if, what, when, whether, or why. Jo: Hi, Anna. Did you get the invitation to the end-of-term concert Anna: Yes, I did. Jo: Could you tell me (1)_____ you’re going to come Anna: Yes, I’d love to. Jo: That’s great. What about Tony Do you know (2)_____ he’s coming Anna: Yes, he’s coming.
