Culture Understanding People in different countries have different understandings of craftsmanship. For many people, products made in Germany are believed to be well-built and durable（耐用的）. The high quality of the products depends largely on the craftsman spirit of German people, who are serious and strive for（争取） perfection. Quality is the life of products, and is closely related to the workers. Thus, they pay great attention to technology and work ethic（道德）. Craftsmanship Across Countries Culture Understanding In Japan, when it comes to craftsmanship, people tend to see their work as their first duty and remain loyal. The advantage of Japanese production lies in continued learning and creating. Japanese love the work they do, work hard and try their best to do it perfectly. In China, craftsmanship can be traced back to the “art apprentice（学徒） system” in ancient times. Masters taught apprentices skills and passed on the spirit of being hard-working, creative and dedicated through words and deeds. Now, Chinese people still carry forward craftsmanship and strive for excellence.
