课 题 Unit 8 Making a Career Plan (Reading and Writing) 课 型 Reading and Writing 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选择《英语 拓展模块》第八单元“Making a Career Plan”读写板块(Reading and Writing)。本板块内容以职业目标、职业推荐和职业选择为主题,共有四个短语篇、一个长语篇以及三个写作活动。四个短语篇训练快速阅读以及获取语篇主旨大意的能力。一个长语篇主要介绍如何科学地进行职业选择的建议,不仅训练学生获取细节信息与理解语篇内容的能力,还可以帮助学生掌握如何更好地选择职业的恰当方法。写作部分反复呈现了职业规划书的写作框架与要求,帮助学生由通过阅读了解结构,到通过阅读填写信息,再到根据个人信息完成写作内容,在能力训练上层层递进,达到了同步提升学生阅读与写作能力的效果。 学情分析 走入职场是与学生终身发展紧密相关的话题。学生在校有实习的经历,因此对职场相关的话题并不陌生。同时,学生在听说部分的学习中已经对职业规划和职业选择有了一定的了解。对于职业规划等信息要素可进行迁移应用,如“make short-term and long-term plans”以及“have a clear goal”“be clear about how to achieve it”等句型和表达。但学生在阅读方面存在畏难情绪,对于基本句型的准确理解存在一定的困难,导致文本理解不透,从而无法正确提取信息。在写作方面,受生活经验所限,学生对于如何正确选择职业、如何制作职业规划书等方面的内容认识还不深刻,表达方面也存在困难,因此限制了学生的表达欲望,因而教师在课堂上要增加阅读、写作策略的指导,通过挖掘写作特色和思路的方式,由易到难,在情境中增强学生的表达能力。 学习目标 Knowledge objective Master the vocabulary and sentence patterns about career recommendation, advice and goals; Master the structure of a career plan. Ability objectives Be able to use extensive and intensive skills to extract the information of a passage; Be able to understand how to choose a right job and try to give advice to friends; Be able to read and understand other’s career plan and write my own career plan. Emotional objective Understand the importance of having a career plan. 学习重难点 Teaching important points: Master the vocabulary and sentence patterns about career recommendation, advice and goals; Use reading skills to extract text information; Use mind mapping to sort out the structure of the article and dig out the features of the text.
