课 题 Unit 8 Role Models of the Times (Reading and writing) 课 型 Reading and writing 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育-出卷网-出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语3 基础模块》中第八单元的阅读和写作(Reading and writing)板块,阅读语篇介绍袁隆平、屠呦呦的主要事迹,明白人物成功的原因是根植于人物内心的价值追求。要求学生能读懂有关时代楷模的文章,思考他们成为时代楷模的原因,运用恰当的词汇与句型描述图片人物刘玫与其榜样的故事,完成写给偶像的一封信的写作任务。 学情分析 经过听说课的学习,学生积累了一些关于谈论时代楷模的词汇和句型。对于文中涉及的时代人物袁隆平、屠呦呦也有一定的了解,能根据相关信息识别文章体裁,有一定的提炼、分析关键信息的阅读能力。但是对于大篇幅的文章,缺乏深入挖掘文本信息,总结归纳人物成功的逻辑思维能力。可根据学生对活动参与性高,交互能力强,善于利用网络搜集信息等学习特点,辅以图片和视频,帮助其更好地理解语篇,从而降低阅读的难度。同时积累词汇和句型,完成写作任务。理解时代楷模的事迹及其榜样精神,激发民族自豪感,塑造正确的价值观。 学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To learn words and phrases about role models of the times:undoubtedly / achievement / discovery / contribution/benefit/succeed in/set world records /Thanks to .
