Students can analyze the structure and sentence patterns of the reading text, use them in their imitative writing. 教学过程 Step 1 Greeting and Leading-in (2 mins) Hi, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Today I’m very happy to be here. We will talk about Unit 6: Go with Transportation. This lesson contains 3 parts: words and structures, grammar and reading and writing. Let’s review words and structures first. 设计意图: 把本节课的三个部分告诉学生,使学生对本课内容有大概了解。 Step 2 Review words and structures (6 mins) Activity 1: A brainstorm Boys and girls, let’s have a brainstorm. We have learned different types of transportation in this unit. We can use different types of transportation to go to different places. For example, I ride my bike to school. Now it’s your turn, boys and girls. Try to talk about transportation with these sentences -- I go to...by... I take/ride... to... Well done. Activity 2: Listening My friends have different plans for National Day. Where will they go How will they go there Let’s listen to the dialogue and fill in the blanks. Open your text book and turn to Page 95. Read the dialogue by yourself first. Now listen carefully and fill in the blanks. Let’s check the answers. A: National Day is coming. What are you going to do B: My father is going to take me to my hometown. We’re going to visit some famous places there. A: Oh, that sounds good. B: Yes.
