By the time he arrived, we had already left California. 4、so/such...that 单数名词: such+ a/an+形容词十名词=so+形容词+a/an+名词 不可数名词或复数可数名词: such...that 名词前有many，much，little，few修饰时: so…that 5、as/though Child as he is, he knows a lot.
