A possible version: Last Sunday, over 200 students participated in the 5km cross-country running race held by our school to strengthen the body. The competitors, excited and energetic, set off at the school gate at 7am and ran all the way to the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Teachers and students were cheering for them, some of whom even ran together to the finish line. Despite the challenging cross-country conditions, all competitors hugely enjoyed running and tried their best to finish. After the competition, everyone said it was an unforgettable experience and also of benefit to them, physically and mentally.
