Then, T display a slide from last lesson to review the structure of film review. 复习第一课时内容,并提高学生学习兴趣,引入主题“film review”。 4’ CW Step 2 Pair work: Ss work in pairs and discuss the questions. Use the following questions and expressions to help them. Strategy: T teaches the strategy: Use the Internet to search information Internet is a great tool for learning English. You can use search engine to find information you need, such as background knowledge, directors, settings.... (e.g. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, fantasy) T introduces the director and leading actors of the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone T introduces the setting, story line, opinions, recommendations about the film by using the table. Setting: England in the 1990's Story line: Harry - the orphan who discovers that his parents were wizards - goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to develop his powers. Opinions: Setting (amazing, transfixing), Story (thrilling, moving), Acting (dramatic), Special effects (imaginative) Recommendations: It's highly recommended to people who love magic and adventure.
