Questions: 为什么不直接用关系代词which呢？ 有些介词是on, 有些是for,有些是at, 我们要怎么选择介词呢？ 由于“介词+关系代词”的比较复杂。 为了“化繁为简”，我的方法是把带有“介词+关系代词”的定语从句的句子拆分为相对应的简单句。 从而在理解句子所表达的意思的基础上去理解介词的选择，而不是单纯痴迷于语法规则。 Learning Tips 首先，我们来看这句话： This is the book on which I spent 5 dollars. 它的意思是：这是我花了五块钱买的书。 之前，我们讨论过，我们可以把包含定语从句的句子拆分成简单句。我们把上面这个意思拆分： This is the book. I spent 5 dollars on it(the book). 这时，我们发现，在介词on是与动词spent构成固定的搭配的。 同理： That‘s the hotel at which we stayed several years ago. 它的意思是：那就是我们几年前待过的酒店。 把上面这个意思拆分： That’s the hotel.
