教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 高中英语 年级 高一 学期 秋季 课题 Welcome Unit Reading and Thinking 教科书 书 名:普通高中教科书英语必修第一册 -出卷网-:人民教育-出卷网- 教学目标 After the lesson, students will be able to 1. get the main idea and structure of the text by getting information from the website and pictures attached. 2. infer the main character’s feelings from the context. 3. learn and apply some key words and expressions in the text. 4. talk about their impression of their first day of high school. 教学内容 教学重点: 1.Guide and help the students infer the main character’s feelings from the context. 2.Help the students learn and apply some key words and expressions in the text. 教学难点: Enable the students to talk about their impression of their first day of high school. 教学过程 Activity 1: Talking about the first day of senior high school Students have a free talk by answering the following questions: Q1: How did you feel on your first day of senior high school Q2: What made you feel happy / excited / frightened / annoyed / anxious / awkward Activity 2: Reading for main idea Students read the title, pictures attached and other information from the website, and get the main idea of the text by answering the following questions: Q1: According to the title and the pictures, what do you think Han Jing is talking about in the text Q2: Can you guess where the text is taken from Q3: In what order is the text organized Activity 3: Figuring out Han Jing’s feelings Students read the text and figure out her feelings at each time and each place. Activity 4: Sharing what have been learnt Students share what have been learnt by answering the following questions: Q1: What did Han Jing learn from her first day at senior high shcool Q2: What have you learned from her story Activity 5: Writing about your first school day Students write about their own first day of senior high school by referring to the structure of the text and the word bank accumulated from the text. Activity 6: Learning about the new vocabulary Students learn about the key words and phrases in the word list and phrase list. Activity 7: Consolidation Students finish the exercise on page 5 and Translate the following sentences with the words given. 1.那个交换项目给同学们留下了深刻的印象。(impression) 2.我正期盼着一切结束后去探索世界。(explore) 3.要是你上课的时候没办法专心于学习会怎么样呢?(concentrate) 4.我不是很外向,所以我对于是否能适应新环境有点焦虑。(anxious) Activity 8: Homework 1.Students polish their writing using the vocabulary learnt in the text. 2.Students interview their schoolmates about their impression of the first high school day and make a presentation about it. 备注:教学设计应至少含教学目标、教学内容、教学过程等三个部分,如有其它内容,可自行补充增加。 ... ...
