UNIT 2 BRIDGING CULTURES 单元整体教学设计 人教版必修二Unit 2 Bridging Cultures 第七课时 Assessing Your Progress Workbook教学设计 教学内容 Student Book : Assessing Your Progress Workbook : Using Words and Expressions , Using Structures ,* Expanding Your World 课时目标 学生通过本课时的学习,能够: 完成语言知识检测,了解自己对本单元重点词汇和语法结构的掌握情况。 独立反思和总结自己在本单元的学习情况,既能看到收获,又能发现不足,并据此调整和优化自己的学习策略。 教学思路 学生通过完成 Assessing Your Progress 板块的语言知识检测活动,以及练习册中的部分练习,检测自己对单元重点词汇和语法的掌握情况,最后根据 Reflecting 部分的内容提示完成单元总结和反思。教师请部分学生分享自己的反思报告,以了解学生的学习情况和思维、情感态度的发展状况。 教学过程 Activity 1: Consolidate and check the vocabulary in this unit. Finish Activity 1 on page 22 and check the answers with the whole class . Translate the new sentences into Chinese and compare them with the original ones . Try to explain the differences . 设计说明:本活动通过改写句子帮助学生巩固本单元重点词汇的用法,引导他们体会不同表达方式的细微差别,同时丰富自己的语言表达形式。 Activity 2: Practise the key vocabulary with one exercise from the Workbook . Complete the passage in Activity 4 on page 68 and check the answers with the whole class . Discuss the questions . ● What do you know about Jordan ● What would you ask the writer if you have an opportunity to ask him / her a question ● Did the writer think it was a good idea to study abroad Why or why not 设计说明:本活动从语篇层面复习并巩固了部分重点生词。步骤2的三个问题帮助学生整体理解短文,并从不同层面引导学生进一步思考跨文化交流的主题。 Activity 3: Consolidate and check the grammar in this unit. Finish Activity 2 on page 22 and check the answers with the whole class . Write the ten sentences in your notebook and underline the noun clauses. Discuss with a partner which type of noun clause each sentence belongs to and circle the conjunction before the noun clause .
