教学设计 课程基本信息 课题 Unit 1 Can you play the guitar (Section A Grammar focus 3a-3c) 教学目标 By the end of this class, students are expected to: Ⅰ.understanding and learning 1. understand the rules of “can” through conversations and games. 2. know the meaning of new words and expressions and learn to use them. 3. know the form of a recruitment poster (招聘海报) and find basic elements in it. Ⅱ.applying and practicing 4. apply and practice the modal verb “can” to ask and answer questions. 5. use the key words and the modal verb “can” to give a short report. 6. evaluate peers’ report by looking at the checklist. Ⅲ.transferring and creating 7.increase their interests on talking about their hobbies and abilities. 8.develop their critical thinking and creative thinking through group work. 教学内容 教学重点: It is essential for students to 1. understand the rules of “can” through conversations and games. 2. know the meaning of new words and expressions and learn to use them. 3. apply and practice the modal verb “can” to ask and answer questions 教学难点: It is difficult for students to 1. use the key words and the modal verb “can” to give a short report. 2. evaluate peers’ report by looking at the checklist. 教学过程 (步骤及设计意图) Step 1:P1,P2 Revision Introduce a school show. And tell them something about the school show. Then ask students about their abilities. T: Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you here. We are going to hold a school show. And we need some talented students. Now I would like to ask some questions. Tom, Can you speak English S1: Yes, I can. T: Pretty good. John, Can you tell stories S2: No, I can’t. T: I’m sorry to hear that. Sally, can you dance S3: Yes, I can. And I can dance well. T: Wow, wonderful. Mary, Can you play the guitar S4: No, I can’t. But I can play the piano. T: Wow, pretty good. And what about you Can you sing S5:Yes, I can. And I want to be a singer one day. T: How talented you are!And I know most of you have joined different clubs. I really want to know more about you. Let’s work in pairs and make your own conversations.
