Look at the pictures, and think over what the problems are and also what they should do. Purpose: 通过学生生活中常见的问题激活学生图式，同时锻炼其解决问题的能力。 Step 2 Before-reading Make students think how they feel when they stay at home alone.. Stimulate their feeling by answering the questions. Purpose: 引导学生熟悉目标情境，为下一步阅读做好铺垫。 Step 3 While-reading 1. Show the passage about staying at home alone. Check the answers and also give them reading tips. Ask the students to guess what how the writer solve the problem. List some possible solutions make ask them to tick out the most suitable one.. 1.Read and complete the passage with the sentences in the box. 2.Listen to the explanation behind the choices. 3.Guess the solutions of the problem. 4.Think about the possibilities and choose the most suitable one. Purpose: 能在根据上下文以及关键词如连词、代词等对内容进行合理推测，并选择合适的句子。能通过上下文和生活实际对文章情节进行合理推测。 Read the passage about being lonely, and find out what the problem is and what the advice is.. Read the passage again and find out the structure of the passage. Read the passage and find out how the writer support his idea. Read the body part ,and find out how the writer explain situations and solutions. 5. Read and find the answers. 6.By reading carefully especially the first sentence to get the structure of the passage. 7.Find the topic sentence of the body part and get the answers. 8.Make clear of how the writer using the examples to support his ideas.. Purpose:能通过读获取特定信息，能判断文章的结构，并依据结构分析作者如何支撑他的观点。 Step 4 After-reading Try to solve the given situation: how to achieve the balance between schoolwork and our hobbies. Try to give some suggestions to the given examples and also give your own opinion in the end. Purpose:能根据具体的情境，运用所学的语言恰当地表达意见和建议。 Homework Must do: Review how to deal with being lonely and balance schoolwork and hobbies, try to write down at least three sentences in each aspect we talked. Choose to do:Try to write down a passage about keeping balance of schoolwork and hobbies for no less than 80 words, it should include at least two examples. ... ...
