Teaching design Topic: Module 5 Unit 1 I love history. Type: Listening &speaking Discourse study(语篇研读) What: 本课语篇是Tony和Betty之间的对话。对话的主要内容是Tony和Betty讨论不同学科在哪个时间进行,以及自己喜欢的学科和喜欢的理由的对话。 Why: 本课的课文内容是关于不同学科在什么时间进行的问答,学生通过学习,能够掌握不同时间的表达方式,正确运用时间介词at, on, in,以及如何描述一门学科,让学生在日常生活中学以致用。 How: 本课通过日常对话的形式使学生掌握不同时间的表达方式,并且学会一般现在时的陈述句形式(主语为主语为I, they, we, you)。 Teaching goals: Students will be able to: spell and pronounce words about subjects: art, Chinese, English, geography, history, IT, maths and PE. express time correctly with prepositions like: at, in, on. talk about one’s lessons with given information. Teaching procedures(教学过程) Teaching goal(教学目标) Learning activities(学习活动) Evaluation(效果评价) 目标1: Students will be able to spell and pronounce words about subjects: art, Chinese, English, geography, history, IT, maths and PE. Show the pictures of different subjects to teach them new words. Ask students to complete Activity 2: Match the pictures with the words from the box. 观察学生是否能够准确地用英语表达不同的学科。 Purpose: 通过图片引出不同学科的英语表达方式。 Teaching goal(教学目标) Learning activities(学习活动) Evaluation(效果评价) 目标2: Students will be able to express time correctly with prepositions like: at, in, on. tell students a riddle to introduce the clock and some relative words, like: hour, minute and second. Show students different clocks and ask them “What time is it / What’s the time ” to lead them to learn expressions of different time. Listen to the radio and try to find out the sentences which describe time.
