Recall the context information they have learnt. 2. Find the grammar knowledge in the articles and make Ss realize grammar expresses meaning. 3. Summarize the form of passive forms in the past first. Have a look T leads Ss to find more sentences using passive forms in the past in the text. Ss read the text carefully to underline the sentences passive forms in the past. Strengthen Ss’ understanding of the passive forms in the past. Analyze T presents the sentences using the tense of Past Simple Passive, Past Continuous Passive and Past Perfect Passive for Ss to summarize their structure and uses respectively. T presents sentences for Ss to summarize several special uses of Passive Forms in the Past. Ss analyze the given sentences to conclude structures and uses of Passive Forms in the Past. Ss read the example sentences to analyze and conclude the special uses of Passive Forms in the Past. Analyze and summarize the structures and uses of three types of Passive Forms in the Past. Practice T shows Ss the sentences for Ss to fill in the blanks to complete them with suitable tenses. T guides Ss to finish Exercise 8 on Page 8. Ss try to complete the sentences with the grammar they have learnt. Ss finish Exercise 9 to practise composing sentences with passive forms in the past.
