The objects are from the famous British Museum. A History of the World in 100 Objects is one of the museum's great exhibitions. Now it comes to China for the very first time. The exhibition opened in the National Museum of China in Beijing on March 2, and will last until May 31. The British Museum spent four years carefully choosing the 100 objects from its huge collection of 8 million things. They had to represent different times and cultures. "The objects had to cover the whole world.
