外研版八上M11ways of life Unit3Language in use.教学设计 教材分析： 本课是M11的第三单元，是对本模块的语言运用阶段。本课内容安排与学生的生活紧密相连,也是他们很感兴趣的话题。引导学生在课堂上发挥丰富的想象力,把课堂模拟成生活,置身于英语学习中,提高语言交际能力，有利学生英语学科核心素养的养成. 二、学情分析 对于八年级的学生来说,部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,掌握了一点英,美国家日常生活中的不同传统特点。但大部分学生对于西方国家的旅游胜地,风土人情和传统生活所知甚少,因而词汇量和信息量可能会偏大,加之学生英语成绩的分化比较严重,所以要求学生能课前认真做好预习,借助网络和书籍,了解中英/美传统生活的特点和差异,培养自学能力。 三、教学目标 知识与技能目标： 1、能够正确使用情态动must, mustn’t, can, can’t, need, needn’及其一般疑问句的用法和回答； 2、能够听懂介绍生活习惯的听力材料并能够读懂有关不同国家生活方式的短文并可以掌握关键信息； 3、能够谈论中西方的风俗习惯和校规、家规并能够用英文表达关于礼仪文化的建议意见； 过程与方法目标： 1.通过录音，初步了解关于他人生活的规则，理解并对所听内容作出判断。 2.通过阅读有关不同生活方式话题的语篇，体验can, can’t, must和mustn’t ，need和needn’t的基本含义，并获取语篇细节信息。 3.通过个人表述，小组合作，书面填空及提出建议等语言输出活动，运用can, can’t, must和mustn’t， need和needn’t谈论不同国家的生活规则，感受不同国家的生活习惯和方式。 情感态度价值观目标： 学生通过对本课的学习，更好的了解了中西方的文化差异，懂得如何尊重他国文化，养成良好的跨文化意识。同时学生也可以感受到，不同国家的人们生活在一个地球上，虽然有着不同，但正因为这些不同，才使我们的生活更加多姿多彩。 四、教学重难点 教学重点：加强对中西方文化差异的理解；理解can, can’t,must和mustn’t，need和needn’t 的含义及用法 教学难点：运用can , can’t, must和mustn’t ，need和needn’t给国外客人访问中国家庭提出建议。 五、教学活动 Ⅰ.Warming up/Lead-in Guessing game. Let seven students to describe the things (don’t say out what they are)and other students to guess what they are.
