Unit 7 Careers Lesson 1EQ:IQ 教学设计 【教学内容分析】 It-cleft sentence,英语强调句基本结构(陈述句)是北师大版高中英语选择性必修三Unit7 Lesson1的重点句型。 此结构本身相对简单,但是此结构与含有“It is...that...”的定语从句、形式主语、一些固定结构等有形式上的相近性,在辨析上有一定的难度。 【学情分析】 在使用此句型时,学生常容易与定语从句混淆,尤其是当被强调部分指时间时,学生会误用when替代that;当被强调部分指地点时,学生会误用where替代that;其次学生在时态方面会犯糊涂,用is还是was分不清。 【教学设计的指导思想】 美国语言学家Larsen-Freeman(2005)提出教师在语法教学时,应采用口头、书面等多模态形式的语篇,如文字、图示、歌曲、音频、视频等。教师所选择的语篇应能激发学习者的认知兴趣。教师应选择或改编贴近学生生活的多模态语篇,设计各种形式的教学活动,以调动学生的积极性,激起学生的学习欲望。 【教学目标】 1.通过回归课本原句,初步了解强调句的概念,包括其形式与意义。 2.通过多模态的语篇学习,理解强调句的形式与意义,继而通过观察,总结概括出强调句的用法。 3.学会如何判断强调句。 4.学会正确写出强调句。 【教学重难点】 教学重点:学生能通过观察、对比,总结概括出强调句的用法,继而能识别判断强调句型。 教学难点:如何正确写出强调句。 【教学过程】 教学环节 活动设计 设计意图 教师活动 学生活动 Introduction of it-cleft Sentences (5mins) Read a paragraph taken from Lesson1,Unit7 to the students and raise a question- “ How does Professor Salovey describe EQ and IQ ” for them Listen and try to find out the answer to the question. 通过回归课本原句,自然地导入本微课的内容,让学生初步了解强调句的概念。 Expose students to more examples of it-cleft sentence through multi-modal ways, such as videos and pictures from real life which students may show interest in. Get to know more examples of it-cleft sentences through answering questions put forward by the teacher concerning videos and pictures 通过多模态的语篇学习,激发学生的兴趣,让学生在初步了解了强调句概念的基础上,更深刻地理解强调句的形式与意义。 Exploration of the sentence pattern (3mins) List all the sentences with it-cleft structure mentioned in the previous teaching steps and the normal ones as well. Students are to observe and compare two columns of sentences and explore the rules of it-cleft sentences. 通过让学生观察、对比两组句子(强调句与普通句),发现、总结强调句的规律与用法,以此让学生深刻地掌握强调句的用法及特点,同时也培养学生自主探究的学习能力。 Summarize the rules of It-cleft sentences Take some notes if necessary.
