主谓一致 语法一致原则：主语的单复数决定了谓语动词的单复数. 动名词、动词不定式、不定代词做主语时，谓语动词常用单数。 主语后有with, together with, as well as, along with, besides, like, but, except, including, rather than, in addition to等，谓语动词的数与前面的主语保持一致。（就前一致） and, both... and...连接两个不同的主语，谓语动词用复数形式；但如果由and连接的两个名词表示同一个人或物时，谓语动词用单数。 定语从句中的谓语动词的数与其先行词保持一致。 “more than one/ many a/ each/ every/ no +单数可数名词”作主语时，谓语动词用单数。 意义一致原则：不管主语的形式是单数还是复数，主语的意义决定了谓语动词的单复数. 集体名词若看作一个整体，谓语动词用单数；若看作是构成集体中的成员，谓语用复数：family, class, team, group, public, committee, government, audience;（单复同形的名词：deer, sheep, fish, means, works, Chinese, 视其意义来决定）；people, cattle, police等集体名词，谓语必须用复数。 分数/百分数/the majority of + n.作主语时，谓语由n.的数决定. population, all, some, half, most, the rest等作主语，谓语单复数取决于主语实际表达的意义。 the + adj.表一类人，谓语用复数 a quantity of 谓语取决于名词的数及其表示的意义 } 不可数名词/可数名词复数 quantities of 谓语用复数 a number of + 复数名词， 谓语用复数 “许多” the number of + 复数名词， 谓语用单数 “....的数量” 表时间，距离，重量，金额等复数名词作主语时，谓语通常用单数 以-s/ -ics结尾的学科名词及news作主语时，谓语用单数 就近一致原则：谓语的单复数取决于离它最近的主语的单复数 or, nor, either...or..., neither...nor..., not only...but also..., not...but, ...等连接并列主语时，谓语动词与最近的主语在人称和数上保持一致。 在here, there置于句首的倒装句中，谓语与其邻近的主语保持一致 主谓一致练习 To love and to be loved _____ the greatest happiness in the world.
