I want to know if/whether Zhong Nanshan works all the day.(我想知道钟南山是否整天都在工作。) 3. Do you know what Yuan Longping did for people?(你知道袁隆平为人类做了什么吗?) 定义:由一个句子来构成主句的宾语,并有一个连接词(that, if/whether , 特殊疑问词)引导,这样的句子叫作宾语从句。 宾语从句三要素 1.引导词 2.时 态 3.语 序 句子完整,不缺意思 句子完整,缺“是否” 句子不完整,缺意思 三类 that whether/ if wh-words 引导词 3 我想知道你最喜欢哪一支钢笔? 由疑问代词 who,whom,which,what 和疑问副词 where,how,why,when 引导的宾语从句 引导词 3 我想知道你最喜欢哪一支钢笔? Which pen do you like best 1.特殊疑问句变成陈述语序 2.连接词就是疑问词本身, 在句中充当成分,有意义 I wonder I wonder which pen you like best. 特殊疑问句 引导词 3 1. 由that引导的宾语从句。that只有语法作用,没有实在的意义,在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。 例如: He said (that) he wanted to stay at home. She doesn’t know (that) she is seriously ill. I am sure (that) he will succeed. 引导词 2. 由if或whether引导的宾语从句。If和whether在句中的意思是“是否”。 例如: I want to know if (whether) he lives there. He asked me if (whether) I could help him. 3. 由连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which和连接副词when, where, why, how引导的宾语从句。 这些连接代词和连接副词在宾语从句中充当某个成分。 例如: Do you know who (whom) they are waiting for He asked whose handwriting was the best. Can you tell me where the No.3 bus stop is I don’t know why the train is late. 宾语从句的时态三原则 一. 需要性原则:主句是现在的时态,从句根据需要任意选择 (一般现在时 现在进行时 现在完成时) I know she Jiujiang next week. I have just known she Jiujiang yesterday. 宾语从句的时态 主句—现在时 从句—所需任何时态 will leave (用leave的正确形式填空) left 宾语从句的时态三原则 二. 呼应性原则:主句是过去的时态,从句也用相应的过去时态 (一般过去时 过去进行时 过去完成时 过去将来时) She told me that she would study medicine. My teacher asked him what he was thinking about. 主句—过去时 从句—相应的过去时态 a.She told me b.She will study medicine. a.My teacher asked him b.What is he thinking about 宾语从句的时态三原则 三. 特殊性原则:从句是客观真理、自然现象等,不受主句影响,永远用一般现在时 Our geography teacher will teach us why the sun rises in the east. 1.当主句是一般现在时,宾语从句的时态不作限制,我们可以根据句子的意思来使用需要的任何一种时态。 时 态 例如: I hear ( that ) Tom has been to Guilin twice . I hear ( that ) she will come tomorrow . I hear ( that ) Jim went to work an hour ago . I hear ( that ) he is interested in English . 2.当主句是一般过去时的时候,宾语从句必须运用相应的过去的某一种时态,从而达到主句和从句的相互一致。 例 ... ...
