九年级英语专项复习 数词专题 命题点1　基数词的用法 表示数目或者数量多少的词叫作基数词。通常有以下用法： 1．表示数量 基数词常用来表示人或事物的数量。 (1)当基数词大于1时，后面的可数名词需用复数形式，不可数名词的量词需用复数形式。 two oranges两个橙子 two pieces of bread 两片面包 (2)hundred, thousand, million等词前有基数词时，要用单数形式，表示确切的数字；表示不确切的数字时要用复数形式，并与of 连用，其前不能再加具体数字。 six hundred people 六百人 thousands of students 数以千计的学生 2．表示时刻 (1)整点：基数词(＋o'clock)　seven (o'clock) (2)几点几分的读法 直接读法：先读小时，后读分钟 3：25　three twenty five 间接读法： a)≤30分钟：分钟＋past＋小时 3：25　twenty five past three b)>30分钟： (60－分钟)＋to＋(小时数＋1) 3：55　five to four c)15 minutes＝a quarter 30 minutes＝half an hour 6：15　a quarter past six 6：30　half past six 6：45　a quarter to seven 3．表示日期 (1)年份用基数词，如in 2019； (2)日期用序数词，如on Sept. 12th。 4．表示年代 “in the＋年份后加s”表示“在……世纪……年代”，如in the 1980s 在20世纪80年代。 表示年龄 (1)“基数词＋year(s)＋old”表示“……岁”，如seven years old 7岁； (2)“at the age of＋基数词”表示“在……岁时”，如at the age of seven 在7岁时； (3)“in one's＋整十基数词的复数形式”表示“在某人……多岁时”，如in his twenties 在他二十多岁时。 6．表示顺序或编号 (1)若用基数词表示，结构为“名词＋基数词”，名词和数词的首字母均大写，如Page Six/6 第六页； (2)若用序数词表示，结构为“限定词＋序数词＋名词”，如the sixth/6th page 第六页。 7．表示电话号码 8．表示长、宽、高等 用“基数词＋单位词(meter, kilogram等)＋形容词(long, wide, high等)”或“基数词＋单位词(meter, kilogram等)＋in＋名词(length，width, height)”表示。 three meters long 三米长 four meters in height四米高 9．表示时间、距离时，用含数词的名词所有格形式作定语。 five minutes' walk 步行五分钟(的距离) three kilometers' distance三千米的距离 10．与名词、形容词构成复合定语 “基数词＋名词(＋形容词)”复合结构作定语时，其中的名词用单数形式，各部分间要用连字符“ ”来连接。 a fifteen minute drive开车十五分钟的路程 a sixteen year old girl一个十六岁的女孩 Nanyue is a famous mountain and _____ tourists come here every year. A．Thousand B．Thousand of C．Thousands D．Thousands of 数字的读法 (1)101～999的数字应先读“……百”，再加and，再加后面的数。例如：568读作five hundred and sixty eight；508读作five hundred and eight。 (2)1 000以上的数字应从右向左数，每三位数加一个逗号，用这个方法把数字分为若干段，再一段一段地读。从右向左第一个逗号前的数为thousand，第二个逗号前的数为million，第三个逗号前的数为billion；百位、十位、个位的数字读法要求同第一条。例如：4 568读作four thousand, five hundred and sixty eight；402 568读作four hundred and two thousand，five hundred and sixty eight；14 402 568读作fourteen million, four hundred and two thousand, five hundred and sixty eight。 (3)表示年份的四位数有两种读法： ①按照四位数的读法读。例如：2019读作two thousand and nineteen； ... ...
