Warm-up and leading-in 1. Greet the class. 2. Tell Ss I had a dream when I was a little child. Guess what it is. 3. Tell them though my hard-working, my dream came true when I grew up. I am a teacher now. Ask what they want to be when they grow up. Let them think of more jobs they have already known. 4. Show the language goal and tell Ss the first step to success is “Setting goals.” Step2. Presentation 1. Show the pictures and learn new words. At the same time, teach “want to do”. 2. Guess the words from the unclear pictures one by one to have an overall review and do 1a. 3. Ask “Which job is suitable to the girl/boy?” “Which job is popular in the USA?” “Which job is a little dangerous? and so on. 4.
