(Page 48) Listen and say whether each student likes writing and / or listening to poetry. Read the questions. I like writing it too. I enjoy playing with words and sentences and lines. S2: I think it sounds silly. People just write anything as long as it sounds right. They don’t seem to care about the meaning. S1: I don’t understand you. Pop songs are poetry too. You cannot just write down whatever comes into your head. However you can experiment with words and see what you produce. That’s what I really enjoy. S2: That’s my experience when I put words to music.
