Today I’m going to talk about the first period in Section A of unit 5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came? 首先是说课内容,包括了六个部分 ? analysis of the teaching material教材分析 ? analysis of the students学生情况 ? teaching methods教学方法 ? learning methods学习方法 ? teaching procedures 教学过程 ? blackboard design板书设计 Part One Analysis of the teaching material教材分析 一、Status and Function本单元在整个初中英语教学阶段的重要性 This unit is mainly about telling past events using the past continuous tense. Let the students talk about what people were doing when the relevant events happened. The content of this unit is closely related to students’ daily life, so it’s easy to encourage them to communicate with others by using what they have learned in this class. 本节主要学习用过去进行时态表达最近发生的事情。本节内容贴近学生生活,所以学生容易接受。 二、 Teaching aims教学目标 1.?Knowledge Objects知识目标 Master new words, phrases and key sentences.掌握新词汇,短语,重点句子 Master the past continuous tense.掌握过去进行时 ?2. Ability Objects能力目标 How to use the past continuous tense in the adverb clause of time leaded by when.怎样使用带有when时间状语从句的过去进行时 3. Moral Objects情感目标 Lead Ss to learn the sense of self-protection in time of difficulty.引导学生在困难时期自我保护 三、Teaching key and difficult points重点,难点 Master the sentence pattern of past progressive tense. How to use the past progressive tense in the adverb clause of time leaded by when. Part Two Analysis of the students?学生情况分析? 学生在八年级上册已经学过现在进行时态,能够简单使用进行时态进行沟通交流和表达想法。学生对于英语时态还是很感兴趣的,贴近生活,容易引出话题。这将有助学生学习本节课。 Part Three Teaching methods教学方法 1. Communicative teaching method交际法 2. Situational teaching method情境教学法 3. “Task-based”teaching method任务型教学法 初中英语主要教学目标是培养学生的听、说、读、写的能力及语感。所以本节课我主要以这三种教学法来讲解。 Part Four Learning methods Presentation-practice-production展示-实践-输出 Cooperation and communicative ways合作-交际 有意识地引导学生养成学习英语的方法会有很好的效果。 Part Five Teaching procedures 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Greetings between the teacher and the class. Free talk about the weather. 通过打招呼和谈论天气活跃气氛,引导学生开口说英语。 Step 2 Revision and Discussion复习及讨论 Show some pictures and get Ss to revise the simple progressive tense by saying. 使用what he/she is doing句型复习现在进行时 Lead Ss to describe the pictures using the past progressive tense bygiving the past time.引导学生用过去进行描述图片 Summarize the structure of past continuous tense and let Ss make sentences.通过学生自主的观察、总结更容易让学生学习运用这个知识点 Step 3 Presentation (1a-1b) Give pictures and guid ... ...
