Complete the notes while listening. 2. Know about the ways to introduce the favourite food. IV. Teaching procedures Step 1 Free talk T asks Ss to have a free talk about their favourite food. T: Hello, boys and girls. What is your favourite food? Can you introduce something about it? T: Thanks for your sharing. I think you really love the food, so maybe you will be interested in the Food Festival. There is an announcement about the school Food Festival. 【设计意图:本节课以情境导入———邀请学生谈谈自己最喜爱的食物,并引出学校即将举办美食节的活动,进而引出下文的听力部分。】 Step 2 Listening 1. Pre-listening T asks Ss to read the questions in part A1 carefully and underline the key words before listening to the announcement. And then T leads Ss to guess what type of word would be filled in the table according to the context in part A2. T: Boys and girls, there is an announcement about the school Food Festival. Please read the questions of part A1 on page 8 and underline the key words to prepare for your listening. And then guess what type of word would be filled in the table of part A2. 【设计意图:该部分先要求学生仔细阅读听力部分的题目并且划出关键词,然后要求学生猜测表格中可能会填写的词性,为后续的听力做好准备。】 2. While-listening (1) T asks Ss to listen to the announcement and answer the five true-or-false questions on page 8. T: Now, please listen to the announcement and answer the questions. (2) T asks Ss to listen to the announcement again and complete the notes on page 8. T: Since you have got some basic information about the school Food Festivals, now it’s time to find out the events at the school Food Festivals. T: Now, listen to the announcement again and complete the notes on your textbooks. 1 【设计意图:该部分通过听力向学生宣传了学校关于校园美食节,听力分为两部分,都有一定的难度,所以在听力之前带领学生梳理题干信息、预测答案,以便学生能精准地捕捉听力信息,提高其听力效果。】 3. Post-listening T asks Ss to prepare for the writing competition at the school Food Festival. T: There are so many events at the school Food Festival, which event is you interested in most? T: Do you want to join in the writing competition? What kind of food do you want to write about?
