(作宾语) when作疑问副词，意为“什么时候；何时”。用于询问年、月、日、星期这样的时间。 例：— When is your geography class? 你的地理课在什么时候？ — It’s on Monday. 在星期一。 知识点三 on表示“时间”的用法 表“时间”的介词 on His Chinese class is on Monday. 他的语文课是在星期一。 on+星期几 on+几月几日 on+具体某一天的上午、下午或晚上 on Monday on May the second on the early morning of August 1st 注意：当星期名词前有last, this, next (下一个)等词修饰时, 一般不再用介词。 例：这个星期六我们打算去看一部电影。 We are going to watch a movie this Saturday. 关于星期的用法 在中国，大家都以星期一作为每周的开始。但在英、美等西方国家，习惯上把 Sunday 作为第一天，把 Saturday 作为最后一天。用法： 1.星期名词为专有名词，首字母均要大写； 2.表示在星期几，前面一般不加冠词。 知识点四 Sunday → Sun.
