Unit 2 听说课 名师教学设计(一) 课题:人教版《英语必修1》Unit2 English around the World (listening and speaking) 单元分析: 本单元通过对“世界上的英语这一话题的探讨加强学生对英语语言及其发展趋势 的了解,还包括一些分话题如其他英语的出现与发展,美式英语和英式英语的区别,英语的方言和标准英语等。 文本分析: 前面的学习主要是基于英语发展这一宏观主题,而本课的听力文本以高中生提高 英语的具体方法为主,引发讨论与判断,话题与学生的日常学习贴合,能够激发学生参与的兴趣。听力难度不大,更有助于学生借助其文本中出现的语言和结构进行讨论。 学生基本情况简介 本班学生为高一普通班学生,课上较活跃,但缺乏深入思考;英语学习基础参差 不齐,最高与最低分之间跨度能到70分,缺乏行之有效的学习方法;同时,大部分学生缺乏课后主动学习英语的意识。 教学目标 After this lesson, the students will be able to: 1. through listening, summarize the ways of improving English that Wang Ting suggests; 2. compare the advantages and disadvantages of different learning ways and choose the suitable one to solve the particular problem. 3. have a further thinking and deeper understanding of English learning, especially their own English study. 教学重点与难点 教学重点: Through listening, students are able to acquire the information, structures and expressions that could be used in speaking part. Meanwhile, students could pay attention to some listening strategies during listening activities. 教学难点: Students are able to compare the different learning ways critically and choose the suitable one to solve the particular problem. 教学过程 教学步骤与时间预算 教学活动 设计意图 Lead-in 2mins Tasks Ss some lead-in questions and plays a short video for them to show that they do need to improve their English listening. 结合学生本单元正在 学习的英语发展史话 题,用几个热身问题 和一段小视频让学生 意识到自己英语听力 需要提高,同时激发 学生兴趣。 Pre-listening 3mins encourages Ss to think about the ways to improve their English listening outside class. 通过头脑风暴激发学 生背景知识,为接下 来的听与说活动做铺 垫。 Listening 18mins Task1 1.Sstry to get the ways of improving listening from the conversation. 2.T tells Ss the importance of listening strategies such as listening to the stress and taking notes, especially the key words. Task2 Ss listen to decide who gives these statements, Chen Peng or Wang ling, who is giving suggestions and what are the suggestions. Ss are encouraged to use the listening strategies to help themselves listen more clearly. Task 3 1. Ss try to summarize the ways Wang Ting suggests to improve English skills. The different details will be listened separately if necessary.
