状语从句 知识衔接： 状语从句 一、定义 用来修饰主句中的动词，副词，形容词或者整个句子的从句叫状语从句。 ·He was sitting there as if he was thinking about something . ·She speaks so fast that we can't follow her. 二、状语从句的分类 英语中有9种状语从句：时间状语从句，地点状语从句，条件状语从句，原因状语从句，结果状语从句，比较状语从句，目的状语从句，让步状语从句。 【说明】引导状语从句的引导词叫做从属连词。每种状语从句的从属连词不同，牢记并运用这些状语从句的从属连词是掌握状语从句的关键。 1.时间状语从句: 定义:时间状语是由一个句子来充当，则这个句子叫时间状语从句。 It was raining hard when I got to school yesterday. While he was doing his homework, the telephone rang. 时间状语从句引导词: when， as， while， before， after， since， till， until,as soon as=the moment=...hardly...when...=...no sooner...than..., each time=every time，by the time，once，no sooner...than...=hardly...when...等连词来引导。 如:He had learned a little Chinese before he came to China. No sooner had I gone to bed than I went to sleep. 【注意】 (1) 在时间状语从句里，通常不用将来时态，用现在时态表示将来的动作 或状态，即主将从现。 如: I'll ring you up as soon as I get to New York He won't believe it until he sees it with his own eyes (2) when/ while 引导时间状语从句时的区别: when: 当......时候，从句中的动词可以是延续性动词，也可以是暂短性动 司。 如:When I came in, I found something surprising When I was in college, I would visit him . while: 在……期间，从句中的动词只能是延续性动词。 如:While I was waiting at the bus stop, I met Alice--My good friend (3) as 引导时间状语从句时，表示主句动词和从句动词同时发生，常可以 译为"边...边..."也可以表示"随着......"。 如:He laughed as he walked，他边走边笑 As scientific technology develops, our life is changing随着科技的进步，我们的生活正发生这改变 (4) 当 since 引导时间状语从句时，主句要用现在完成时，since 从句要用般过去时。如: He has been silent since he came in (5) 当 unti 引导时间状语从句时，当主句是肯定句时，主句的谓语动词必须是延续性动词;当主句是否定句时，主句的谓语动词应该是暂短性动词。 如: The rain didn't stop until it was late I waited until he came back 【说明】当 not until 从句谓语句首时，主句要倒装。如: Not until it was late did the rain stop. 直到很晚的时候，雨才停。 而且 not ...until 句型也可以用于 it is/was...that ...强调句式中。 如: It was not until it was late that the rain stopped 就是到半夜的时候，雨才停了。 (6) 句型 It is /has been +一段时间+since 从句，译为"自从……已经……时间了"。如: It is/It has been 8 years since he attended school . (7) 句型 It won't be +一段时间 before 从句，译为"过不了多久就....." 如: It won't be long before you meet your new teachers. 这个句型的主句时态只能用一般将来时和一般过去时; 而且主句也可以用肯定形式。 如:It wasn't two years before he came back It will be three years before you graduate from Sanshui Senior Middle school (8)在句型"...hardly + A句子+ when + B句子"和句型"...no sooner + A句子 than + B句子"中，A句子要用过去完成时，B句子要用过去时。而且当hardly 和no sooner 位于句首时，A句子要倒装。如 ... ...
