How interesting! 3. 能熟练谈论不同形式的音乐和音乐家。 核心素养: 1. 能够将本单元所学内容和以前所学知识相结合,能用英语在日常生活中表达自己喜欢和不喜欢等情感。 2. 能读懂跟课文水平相当的有关音乐和音乐家的文章,写出自己及朋友喜欢的音乐家。 3. 能够从自己喜欢的音乐家身上看到自己的不足,学习他人坚韧的品格。 【Teaching key points and difficult points】 Key points: 1. 巩固感叹句的用法。 2. 复习Sections A-C中的重点短语和句型。 Difficult points: 感叹句的用法。 【Teaching methods】 Situational language learning, task-based language teaching, group discussion teaching. 【Teaching procedures】 Lead in: 1. Get students ready for learning. 2. Ask students to report their homework “My Favorite Musician”. Show two questions to students “Who is his/her favorite musician ” “Why does A like him ” 3. Praise the student who gives the report. 4. Provide 3 minutes for students to read through Sections A-C. Ask them to underline or write down the key points in the topic they think. 5. Ask students to share the notes in groups. Presentation: 1. Show some pictures. Present how to describe the pictures by using exclamations (感叹句). What a beautiful flower! How beautiful the flower is! 2. Talk about the pictures one by one. 3. Explain: We can use different exclamations to describe the same thing. What a big apple! How big the apple is! Consolidation: 1. Ask students to finish Part 2 on page 70 individually. Walk around the classroom to observe students’ answers. Help them if necessary. 2. Give students several minutes to check the answers in groups. 3. Ask students to fill in the blanks on page 69 in Grammar and Functions. 4. Give students 1 minute to check the answers in groups. 5. Ask students to share their opinions about exclamations. Add some points that the students should pay attention to when they use exclamations. Practice: Watch the flash of 1a, then complete the table on Page 70. Check the answers. Work in pairs and retell the passage according to the information above. Ask some students to retell the passage in class. 5. Make a survey. Survey their classmates about their favorite music. Then make a table similar to 1a and write a passage. 6. Finish Project. Encourage students to share their posters on the platform. 7. Go through the language points. 8. Do some exercises.
