Module 1 Feelings and impressions Unit 1 It smells delicious. 1.掌握本单元的词汇和句型。 2.学习look,sound,smell,feel,taste等感官动词的用法。 1.在语境中猜测意思并认读词汇:smell,soft,sour,sound,cookie,pizza,jam,lovely,have a try,sweet tooth。 2.能够辨别不同感官动词和形容词所表述的内容,并能与图片准确匹配。 3.通过学习美国女孩贝蒂和托尼谈论在家里制作西方传统食物的对话,让学生能够准确运用相应的感官动词和形容词描述食物的特征,简单表达自己的主观感受。 4.通过读对话,初步感受西方饮食文化并借助提示简述对话内容。 1.重点: (1)掌握新单词及重要短语。 (2)理解Activity 3中的对话内容,学会运用系表结构。 2.难点:能够听懂运用感官系动词表达感受的对话,并能准确获取信息。 Step 1 Warming up and leading in 1.Do the chant games of touching the body parts together.Listen and point.Talk about the body parts. 2.Multimedia shows some pictures of people and food.The teacher asks a question:When you see the following pictures,what words do you think of 【设计意图】通过游戏让学生放松身心;通过展示图片并提问,既活跃了课堂气氛,又调动了学生学习的积极性,还使学生对感官动词的用法有了初步的认识。 Step 2 Listening Before listening 1.Show some pictures of the new words on the screen of the multimedia.The teacher reads the words for the students and the students read after the teacher. 2.Play a game “Golden Eyes”.Use the new words flashing on the screen to see who can say the word the fastest. 3.Ask the students to look at the pictures and read the new words in Activity 1. 【设计意图】通过图片,让学生更直观地理解新单词的含义。通过“火眼金睛”的游戏来激发学生的学习兴趣。 While listening 1.Play the recording twice and let the students listen and number the pictures in Activity 1. 2.Listen again and complete the sentences in Activity 2. 3.Let the students who hear the answers raise their hands and hold the star-winning competition between the groups. 4.Check the answers. 【设计意图】此部分通过图片学习感官系动词,使学生更容易完成对应的听力练习。 Step 3 Listening and reading 1.Play the recording of Activity 3 for the first time.Ask the students to listen.Then answer the question:How many people are there in the conversation [答案]Three. 2.Play the recording again.Let the students read the conversation sentences by sentences after the recording. 3.Ask the students to read the conversation carefully by themselves and underline all the points which are difficult or important for them. 4.Invite some students to show the points to the class,and the teacher explains some difficulties to them. 5.Finish Activity 3.Let the students check what food Betty is making. 6.Check the answers. 【设计意图】通过让学生听对话并跟读、模仿,纠正学生的语音语调。让学生带着问题去阅读,提高学生捕捉信息的能力。 Step 4 Practice 1.Let the students read the sentences and the words in the box of Activity 4 and complete the sentences with the words in the box. 2.Ask the students to look at the table in Activity 5.Then complete the table with the words in the boxes in Activi ... ...
