Important sentence patterns: ①I’ve had it for three years. ②He’s owned it since his fourth birthday. ③I did when I was little, but I haven’t played for a long time. 2. Talk about possessions and things around you and learn present perfect tense with since and for. 3. Know the culture of Yard Sale and charity activities. 4. Be willing to help the others and be grateful to people around us. Cultural Consciousness Tell students to learn to deal with and make full use of their waste things, Thanks to the community to return society to care for others. Thinking Quality Under the teacher’s guide, encourage students to talk about possessions and things by using present perfect tense with since and for freely and master the grammar. Learning Ability Through speaking training and grammar learning, students can develop good learning habits and use strategies to improve learning efficiency. Also, keep interested in English. 重点 Students master Present Perfect Tense with for and since. Students can change some non-continuity verbs into continuative verbs. Invite two groups to show their certificate of the charity bazaar in class and make an introduction. T: Do you want to have a yard sale T: How do we have a yard sale Step 2. Grammar Focus. Guide Ss to observe the sentences and list some questions to lead Ss to explore the usages of the present perfect tense. Present the answers to the questions before. 1) 现在完成时的特殊疑问句的结构: How long + have/has+主语+过去分词+其他成分 2) for + 时间段:指某个动作或情况到现在为止持续了多久 3) since + 时间点:指某个动作或情况从过去某个时间点一直持续到现在 Ask Ss to have a discussion about the verbs in the sentences. List some durative verbs and non-durative verbs to let Ss remember. Step 3. Practice. Work on 4a. Ask Ss to read the example first. Walk around the classroom to give help if necessary. Ask some Ss to report their answers. Work on 4b. Ask Ss to read the instructions in 4b, and fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in brackets. Then ask some students to check the answers. Work on 4c. Ask Ss to work in groups, fill in the questions and ask two Ss. Then complete the chart and report their results. Step 4. Conclusion.
