Good morning/afternoon! T: Open your book at page 15. Below the title, there goes Liu Cixin’s saying, “The pursuit of the ultimate truth of the universe is the final objective and destination of civilization.” Below the saying there is a picture. What do you see T: Yes, it must be our solar system. So the theme of this unit is probably about exploration of the universe. 2. T asks Ss to watch a video and finish the exercises. T: Now watch a video carefully and fill in the blanks. T: Let’s check your answers. They are 1961, 1969, 1971, 2000 respectively. T: The video is about many exciting breakthroughs in the history of space exploration.
