Brainstorming T: Next, let’s talk about the culture. When we talk about culture, what will you think of Maybe you’ll think of tourist attractions, great people in history, customs and beliefs and so on. And these questions may also give you some ideas: (1) What is the country famous for (2) What is the national song of the country (3) What are the special festivals in the country (4) What kind of crops does the country grow (5) Which sport is popular in the country 【设计意图:通过头脑风暴活动,激发学生的思维,讨论文化一词涵盖的范围,提醒学生可以选择部分内容重点进行展示,切忌面面俱到。】 3. Show how to make a map T: I’d like to choose the culture of India as an example because I know a little about it. To make a display, we need a map. You can buy a map or draw one. If you draw a map, just draw the outline of some major countries. Do not draw everything too detailed. Stick or draw flag of the country on the map. Don’t forget to draw a compass at the bottom of your map and label the directions. 4. Collect information T: India is an old country with a long history and rich culture. So I choose these aspects to include in my information sheet. Of course, we can look for information on the Internet or in the library.
