During the lead-in stage, use all the possible teaching methods and materials to help students get more knowledge about the topic of the new unit and cultivate the interest in learning. 2. Make good preparation for the language learning stage. Teaching Method: Multi-Media Method Teaching Procedure: Part I Lead-in of the text 1. Introduce the basic movie category 2. Match the movies with their categories Part II Picture Talking 1. Give students some photos and videos of several action movie stars 2. Carry on the picture talking based on the text using the key words given Part III Prediction 1. Ask students to predict the topic and the contents of the text. Part IV Check (Skimming and Scanning) 1. Check the predictions given by students 2. Skim the text and finish the exercises A2 on page 70 and find the specific clues in the text. 3. Scan the text and finish the exercises B on page 70 and find the specific clues in he text Part V Summary 1. Summarize the text and finish the exercises C2 on page 70 2.
