Free Talk Session: Respond actively to the teacher’s questions, share your travel experiences and the Chinese attractions you have visited, and express simple ideas in English boldly. 2. Attraction Cognition Session: (1) Watch the pictures and introductions of the attractions. (2) Memorize the locations and features of the 6 core attractions. (3) Read the words and key sentence patterns aloud with the teacher, and correct your pronunciation. 【学习任务二】 Listening Practice Session: (1) Listen to the recording for the first time, and complete the sequencing task of the 6 attractions. (2) Listen to the recording for the second time, check and improve the sequencing results. (3) Listen to the special recording about Kanas Lake and Ocean Park, and fill in the blanks. 【学习任务三】 Role-play Session: Cooperate with your deskmate, imitate Simon and Millie’s conversation, and have English dialogues about any 2 core attractions. Use the learned sentence patterns and vocabulary, and speak with clear pronunciation and natural intonation. 【学习任务四】 Thinking and Discussion Session: Participate in group discussions, sort out the differences between natural attractions and man-made attractions. Prepare an introduction to your hometown’s attraction according to the given template, including its name, appearance, features, etc. 【学习任务五】 Q&A Consolidation Session: Listen carefully to your classmates’ dialogues and introductions.
