Warm-up Show some pictures of rulers. Ask and answer. What are these? They are rulers. A long ruler and a short ruler. Step 2. Presentation 1. Talk about the picture on Page 44, learn the conversation. Focus on the key words and the structures. A: Hi, Eve! Do you have a ruler B: Yes. I do. Here it is. A: Oh, it’s too short. I want a long one. B: Ask Lulu. I think she has one. A: Hello, Lulu! Do you have a long ruler B: Yes, I do. A: Can I use it, please B: Sure. Here you are. A: Thank you. Bui it’s too short. B: No. Look! It’s a long one. 2. Play the recording, read and repeat the conversation. Step 3. Drills Play the recording , do the part of “Let’s learn”. 2. Play the recording , do the part of “Talk and write” and “Listen and choose” Step 4. Games Do the part of “Listen and say”, ask the students to read and act in pairs. Step 5. Practice 1.
