登陆21世纪教育 助您教考全无忧 Unit 6 Good Manners Reading: Table Manners At A Dinner Party (The first period) 一. 教学目标和要求 1)认知目标: a.让学生记住中西方餐桌上餐具的名称,西餐名称及上菜顺序。 b.掌握并能熟练运用本课中所规定的“四会”“三会”单词、词组,如:napkin, starter,dessert, custom,make a good impression, drink to someone’s health… 2)能力目标: a.通过听录音,掌握正确的语音语调,使学生形成良好的语言习惯。 b.通过对段落结构的分析,使学生掌握 skimming和scanning的阅读技巧。 c.通过任务型学习,使学生的思维能力,逻辑能力,智力都能得到提高。 3)情感目标: a.通过对西方餐桌礼仪的讨论,培养学生跨文化交际意识。 b.通过小组活动,指导学生积极与人合作,积极与人交流,培养他们的团队合作精神。 c.在师生互动的活动中,加强教师的亲和力,增进彼此的了解与沟通,充分发挥情感教学的优势。 .二. 教学重点和难点 1)教学重点: a.掌握并能熟练运用一些重点单词和短语; b.了解中西方餐桌礼仪差异。 2)教学难点: a.文章段落结构的分析; b.开放性话题的实现。 三. 教学方法:任务型教学 1) 泛读和精读 1) 学生个人活动 小组活动 小组比赛 四. 教学辅助手段:多媒体教学 五. 教学程序 Step1.Lead in Goal:这部分的重点是激活学生已有的相关背景知识,启发学生思维和想象,引出本课的话题-Table manners at a party,了解学生对其的认知程度,激发学生兴趣,使学生很快融入课堂教学内容。 In 1930 a Chinese official visited America. An American friend invited him to have a western dinner. After he sat down at the table, he used the napkin to clean the knives and forks. The host was embarrassed(尴尬). So the host asked the waiter to take away all the tableware (餐具)on the table and bring other pairs. Why was the host embarrassed Goal:通过讲故事的形式来导入新课,能引起学生兴趣,也使学生马上意识到掌握西方餐礼的必要性,从而引出本课主题,同时也训练了学生听说能力。 Step2. 1)Skimming Match each part with the main idea.
