定语从句(Ⅱ) 一、关系副词引导的定语从句 1．when引导的定语从句 [观察典例] I can not forget the day when I first saw you. The old man still remembers the time when he first travelled by plane. Please tell us the date when you were born. [归纳用法] when 指时间，在从句中作时间状语。先行词通常是time，day，week，year 等。 2．where引导的定语从句 [观察典例] This is the house where they lived a week ago. Japan is one of the few countries where people drive on the left. Is this the place where it happened? [归纳用法] where 指地点，在从句中作地点状语。先行词通常是place，street，house，city，country 以及一些抽象意义的名词，如 point，case，position，condition，situation等。 3．why引导的定语从句 [观察典例] The reason why I don't trust him is that he often tells lies. Can you explain the reason why you don't help him?
