This paper aims to analyze the current situation of teacher training in mental health education in primary schools, explore existing problems, and propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Through methods such as literature review, field research, and case analysis, this study found that teacher training in mental health education in primary schools faces issues such as insufficient numbers, low quality, and inadequate training systems. In response to these problems, this paper proposes countermeasures such as strengthening the construction of teacher training systems, optimizing training content and methods, and improving teachers' salaries and status, with the goal of improving the overall level of teachers in mental health education in primary schools and providing a strong guarantee for students' mental health development.
